CareClinic services by Kaiser Permanente are no longer available.
Sometimes you or a loved one gets sick, or even has a minor injury…one that you’re not so sure, is so minor. There is no need to worry, or wait for an appointment with your Doctor that may well be scheduled days or even weeks out.
CareClinic, at Bartell Drugs, is your walk-in health clinic for fast, affordable health care for minor injuries, minor illnesses, or preventative care.
Staffed by board-certified Kaiser Permanente Physician Assistants and Registered Nurse practitioners, our CareClinic locations are available (with convenient evening and weekend hours) at select neighborhood Bartell Drugs locations; and we’ve created a list of excellent reasons to visit.
1. In and out in generally 30 minutes!
Since the CareClinic treats non-emergency issues, the range of symptoms and treatments are generally less complicated than those evaluated and treated by Urgent Care facilities, or emergency rooms. This means no one is ahead of you with a complicated, time-intensive treatment, that might push back your treatment by hours. CareClinic provides the right care, at the right place.
2. Prescriptions filled on the spot at Bartell Drugs Pharmacy
If CareClinic staff issues you a prescription, you can have it conveniently filled at the same Bartell Drugs you are actually in—right after your CareCliinc visit.
If you typically use a different Bartell Drugs for your prescriptions, your regular store will see a record of the new prescription in your file. And if you don’t need a prescription but end up needing some other healthcare or medical supplies—from additional Ace bandages to Visine or anything in-between—they are all there, right in the store.
3. The quality of care is top notch
CareClinic is partnered with (and staffed by) one of the top health care providers in the country, Kaiser Permanente (but you do not need to be a Kaiser Permanente member to use CareClinic as we accept most health insurance plans). Their Physician Assistants and Registered Nurse practitioners use their resources and knowledge to evaluate and asses the best treatment—or determine if additional attention (from your primary care physician or other medical facility) may be more appropriate.
4. Available when you need it
With 15 CareClinic locations that are open every day, seven days a week, from 9am to 7pm—excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas—you get the convenience of quality care when you need it the most.
