Refund and Return Policy

Bartell Drugs guarantees your satisfaction of all products sold in our stores. We will gladly exchange or refund items purchased from any Bartell Drugs. Your receipt is your guarantee. Restrictions may apply.

Prescription Medications

If you have any questions regarding your prescription(s) or feel you may have received something in error, please contact the pharmacist of the store where the prescription was purchased immediately.

Bartell Drugs has always believed that good communication with their customers is vital, especially with our online customers. If for any reason you wish to contact Bartell Drugs with comments or concerns, you may do so by completing our online  comment form.

Identification Scanning for Alcohol and Tobacco Sales

For those purchasing alcohol or tobacco products, Bartell Drugs reserves the right to request inspection of a state or federally issued photo identification. For any individual appearing to be age 40 years or younger, your ID will also be scanned for verification. PLEASE NOTE: None of your personal information is stored in our system by this scan, nor do staff see any of this information. The scan only verifies your age for the purchase. This is to ensure compliance with all state regulations concerning sales of alcohol and tobacco to minors.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions

This Gift Card is provided for your convenience and may be used to purchase merchandise at any Bartell Drugs retail location. This is not a Debit or Credit card and it carries no implied warranties. When you make a purchase with this card, your receipt will show the balance remaining on the card. You may check the balance of the card at any Bartell Drugstore.

Gift Cards may be purchased with cash, check, credit cards, debit cards, or traveler’s checks. They may be purchased in any value from $5.00 to $100.00 and may be reloaded repeatedly with additional value up to $100.00. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a refund. Bartell Drugs Gift Cards have no expiration date. Bartell Drugs is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards.

Bartell Drugs reserves the right to change these requirements.

Coupon Policy

• We will accept only coupons issued by Bartell Drugs or the Manufacturer that are presented at the time of the purchase and are within the valid dates printed on the coupons.
• We cannot accept photocopies of coupons.
• We allow the redemption of one Bartell coupon and one Manufacturer coupon per item purchased.
• Coupons are accepted only for the specific product showing or described on the coupon.
• Coupons are accepted that scan or are accepted with the manual entry of the barcode number.
• Coupons have no cash value.
• Bartell Drugs has the right to limit quantities and follows any restrictions on the coupon. Sales taxes will be applied in accordance with the law when redeeming a Manufacturer coupon.
• A Bartell “Buy One Get One Free” coupon may be used in conjunction with a manufacturer coupon for the same item. Bartell Drugs allows the redemption of one manufacturer coupon for each item purchased, including the free item(s).
• If the value of the coupon exceeds the purchase price of the item, the value of the coupon will be reduced.
• Customers cannot net a cash credit or payout from a coupon purchase.
• We will not accept coupons that, in the determination of Bartell Drugs personnel, appear distorted or blurry or are altered in any way.
• Bartell Drugs reserves the right to refuse coupons at the store manager’s discretion.

Internet Printed Coupons:

• We gladly accept internet printed coupons. The same manufacturer and store coupon rules above apply to all internet printed coupons.
• Internet printed coupons must be capable of scanning at checkout.
• Internet printed coupons must have serial numbers and must follow an industry-standard format.
• Manufacturer internet printed coupons must clearly indicate that they are a manufacturer coupon and must have a valid manufacture address on the printed coupon.

Online Content Terms of Use

The Dos

• Do engage with us with your User Content on the Sites; we’re looking forward to hearing from you!
• Do engage in meaningful dialogue, but when discussing or challenging each other’s views or opinions, do so respectfully.
• Do read all User Content at your own risk.
• If you are employed or otherwise compensated by Bartell Drugs, do disclose your relationship with Bartell Drugs when promoting Bartell Drugs products and services.

The Don’ts

• Don’t post any content that violates any applicable law, regulation or guideline, violates any right of a third party including, without limitation, copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, or causes injury to any person or entity.
• Don’t post any content that contains any obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, discriminatory, abusive, profane, threatening, or unnecessarily repetitive language or information.
• Don’t post any content that constitutes hate speech, harassment, bullying, or stalking.
• Don’t post any content that contains software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any form of “spam.”
• Don’t post any content that impersonates someone in a misleading or deceptive manner, which includes, but is not limited to, creating a social media or online account username, handle, or profile in a fake name or that impersonates someone.
• If you are a Bartell Drugs associate, don’t post any information that is confidential or which violates HIPAA.

The Legal Stuff

• These Terms of Use apply to all User Generated Content (“User Content”) that is placed on any of Bartell Drugs’ online sites, including but not limited to its Facebook pages, its Twitter pages/feed, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and www.bartelldrugs.com (each a “Site” and together the “Sites”). You, a User, agree to these Terms of Use when using a Site or the Sites.
• The information on any Site other than www.bartelldrugs.com may or may not be accurate, complete, reliable, or up to date.
• You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit, and Bartell Drugs assumes no liability for any User Content submitted by you. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Bartell Drugs, its agents, employees, officers, directors, vendors, successors, and assigns harmless from and against any and all damages, liabilities, claims, actions, demands, and costs (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of: (1) your use of any Site, or (2) any breach by you of these Terms of Use.
• You understand and agree that Bartell Drugs reserves the right to review and delete any User Content for any or no reason, including User Content that we determine in our sole discretion violates these Terms of Use, Facebook’s Terms of Use and Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, The Twitter Rules, Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, Pinterest’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, LinkedIn’s User Agreement, any other third party site rules, terms, or conditions, or is otherwise inappropriate or offensive, harmful to Bartell Drugs, Bartell Drugs’ associates, Bartell Drugs customers, or any third party.
• You understand and agree that Bartell Drugs may ban any user from posting on any Site for engaging in a pattern of inappropriate postings or as otherwise deemed necessary by Bartell Drugs, in its sole discretion.
• If you post any User Content on any Site, Bartell Drugs may request permission to use your User Content. We will do so by responding to your User Content with a message that requests you to reply by simply typing the hashtag #PermissionToBartellDrugs. If you grant Bartell Drugs permission to use your User Content, you will be granting Bartell Drugs a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, sell and distribute such User Content, and to incorporate such User Content in any form, medium or technology throughout the world, all without compensation to you. In addition, you will be granting Bartell Drugs the right to include the name provided with the User Content you have posted, if Bartell Drugs chooses to do so.
• Bartell Drugs reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Your use of any Site created or administered by Bartell Drugs following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms whenever you use any Site created or administered by Bartell Drugs.
• By posting User Content, you agree that any action related to such Content or these Terms of Use shall be exclusively venued in King County District Court, Washington and that Washington law shall apply to any such action.

Social Media Content

By submitting user-generated content (UGC) to our website or channels and replying with #agreebartells, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish and display such content, including your username, name, picture, likeness, social media handle, nickname, profile picture, avatar, profile and biographical information, caption, comments and statements, location or other identifying information in connection with any use of your content, across our website, social media channels, and other digital platforms, in any manner to be determined in our sole discretion. You retain ownership of your content, but you acknowledge that your submission may be visible to the public and may be used in promotional and marketing materials. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to grant these permissions and that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights or violate any law. You also certify that any statements made by you reflect your honest opinions, findings, beliefs or experiences. You agree that you have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based upon copyright, trademark, invasion of privacy, defamation, right of publicity, or moral rights) arising out of the exercise of (or failure to exercise) the rights granted herein. You hereby release, discharge and agree to hold us harmless from any liability related in any way to the content. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.
