Father's Day at the Museum of Flight
Dad gets in for FREE at the 12th Annual Father’s Day celebration at the Museum of Flight from 10a to 5p (a $14 value.) There will be activities for the entire family throughout the day including
• Bartells will be handing out balloons for the kids plus taking and printing family photos.
• Admittance into the new exhibit Space: Exploring the New Frontier
• Building candy airplanes and other workshops
• Building demonstrations with the LEGO® Guy

Fight Hunger 2008
Bartell Drugs will once again partner with 710 KIRO Newsradio and the Girl Scouts of America for the 2008 Fight Hunger Campaign to benefit Northwest Harvest. This will be the 25th year of 710 KIRO’s Fight Hunger Campaign. In 2007, we collected more than 24,000 pounds of food to benefit Fight Hunger.
Customers may bring their donations of non-perishable food to all Bartell Drugs locations March 31 – April 27.

Northwest Women's Show
Truly a Northwest tradition for friends, sisters, mothers & daughters! Come & experience 600 exhibits and 5 stages of fashion, fitness, food and fun. The Northwest Women’s Show is the most successful show of its type in Seattle, and this year they celebrated their 20th anniversary.
We offered a unique sampling of health, wellness and beauty products and services on the Bartell Drugs' Red Carpet.
Our Pharmacists were at the show to answer any questions visitors had about medications or to test bone density, blood pressure cholesterol or blood glucose level - four important health issues for women today.
Visitors could explore an exciting array of cosmetics and skin care products and, to satisfy their sweet tooth, we featured good-for-you treats and slightly decadent temptations.
Women were also entertained with shows, celebrity speakers, authors, free giveaways and prize drawings.
And like always Bartell Drugs was the exclusive advance-sale discount ticket outlet for the NWWS.

Teddy Bear Patrol Campaign
Warm 106.9 and Bartell Drugs were proud to present the 2008 Teddy Bear Patrol campaign!
Together we helped children in traumatic situations by giving them a warm & fuzzy friend to hold onto while they await help from the police, firefighters or other emergency workers.
During the month of March, all Bartell Drugstores were drop-off points for contributions to the Teddy Bear Patrol campaign. Customers could purchase an official Teddy Bear Patrol bear at any Bartells and we matched the bear with a second one. Customers were also asked to bring new bears, 12” or smaller, into any of our 54 stores.
Thanks to our generous customers who donated to this cause; together we have collected and distributed more than 45,000 bears to emergency response teams throughout Western Washington.

Smile Day
February was National Dental Health Month and this is the 21st year Bartell Drugs will co-sponsor the Annual Smile Day put on by the Seattle King County Dental Society. Smile Day will be held on February 9, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ranier Valley Community Center. Bartell Drugs will be there handing out goodie bags to all the kids. Kids will also receive free dental checkups, watch dental demonstrations, and receive a free toothbrush and toothpaste.
